From ‘performing’ in front of her Kindergarten students to acting and working backstage, the theatre has always been a very important aspect of Nancy’s life! After graduating from York University and Toronto Teachers’ College, Nancy pursued a teaching career in Toronto and then in the Quinte area.

After retirement, she began her second career performing with local theatres including the Belleville Theatre Guild, Westben and The Village Theatre. Nancy was concert manager for Quinte Symphony and stage manager, props coordinator, follow spot operator and producer with a variety of area theatre groups. She is currently a Board member for the Belleville Theatre Guild as well as previously serving on the Boards of Westben, Quinte Symphony and the SFT.

Nancy is thrilled to be working with the SFT as the assistant stage manager for the annual Panto and as the stage manager for the SFT Young Company. In her spare time, you may find her singing with the Westben Festival Chorus.
