Join SFT favourites, J.P. Baldwin and Ken MacDougall with wine expert Casey Porter, as we guide you through a tasting of 6 wines (international and domestic) while exploring, learning and laughing along the way.
Whether you are a novice sipper or expert swirler, there is something to be discovered in every glass! We’ll talk tannins, sip Sauvignon and banter about body.
Ticket includes a complimentary glass of sparkling to welcome you, five tastings accompanied by charcuterie, and an entertaining and educational afternoon for all!
Casey Porter
Casey's professional journey has been deeply rooted in the food and beverage industry, spanning various establishments and environments, from film sets and sports pubs to fine dining and wineries. Her passion for wine blossomed during her studies with Canada's first Master Sommelier, John Zsabo, which ignited her desire to pursue opportunities within the wine industry. Having explored wine regions like the Okanagan, Prince Edward County, and Niagara, Casey has gained invaluable hands-on experience and a profound appreciation for the world of wine. Her commitment to wine education was solidified when she achieved her Level 3 WSET certification in 2013, showcasing her dedication to mastering the intricacies of wine.
Her current role as a retail manager for Andrew Peller Ltd, as well as wine educator, has resulted in a WSET pass rate above global average!
